EC bans election poster on roads
Posters can only be hung at 21 selected spots selected by the commission

The Election Commission (EC) has said posters of the upcoming by-election to Dhaka-10 constituency can be hung at only 21 selected spots.
"Do not hang campaign posters and other materials on roads and lanes like the previous two city corporation elections," Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda came up with the remark today in a meeting with the candidates of the by-polls.
Only motorcycles will be banned, other vehicles will ply normally during the by-election, he also added.
EC also imposed a ban on printing and displaying laminated campaign posters which will pollute the environment of the city.
