Earthquake of magnitude 3.5 strikes Jashore's Manirampur

An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck Manirampur in Jashore this afternoon (27 September), the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has confirmed.
According to the BMD's Seismic Observatory and Research Centre, the tremor occurred at 2:27 pm with its epicenter located at 22.95°N latitude and 89.13°E longitude in Manirampur.
The epicenter was recorded 157 km southwest of the BMD Seismic Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka.
