The student leaders told reporters that ballot papers for the Ducsu polls were found unsecured at a printing press shop in Gausul Azam Market in the Nilkhet area

The Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) election commission has said it is investigating allegations of unsecured ballot paper printing at Nilkhet.
The matter is being investigated with priority, the Ducsu EC said in a press release signed by Chief Returning Officer Jasim Uddin last night (25 September).
Further details will be given soon at a press conference, it added.
The press release also said the commission is considering all complaints and queries regarding the Ducsu and hall union elections with priority, adding that written replies were given to 15 complaints and queries yesterday.
Responses to the remaining complaints and queries will be provided gradually, the press release further added.
The allegation came after Swatantra Shikkharthi Oikyo panel's Umama Fatema, Chhatra Dal panel's Abidul Islam Khan, and Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad panel's Abdul Kader met DU Vice-Chancellor Niaz Ahmed Khan on Monday afternoon (23 September). DU Proctor Saifuddin Ahmed was also present.
The student leaders told reporters that ballot papers for the Ducsu polls were found unsecured at a printing press shop in Gausul Azam Market in the Nilkhet area on 7 September. They demanded a clear explanation from the administration.
