Housewife's hanging body recovered in Lalmonirhat

Family has alleged that following a conversation with her husband, Moni committed suicide by hanging

Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife from Chowratari area under Sarpukur Union in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat district this afternoon (10 April).

According to her family members, the deceased, Moni, was found hanging by a scarf (orna) inside her room after a "Messenger" conversation with her husband, Zulfikar Ali, who works in the railway sector.

They alleged that following the conversation with her husband, Moni committed suicide by hanging inside the room.

Police from Aditmari Police Station reached the spot and recovered the body. The exact cause of death will be known after investigation. Legal procedures in this regard are underway.
