Cucsu polls: Final candidate list with ballot numbers announced; 908 contestants in total
According to Cucsu’s official website, 415 candidates will vie for 26 posts in the central.
The final candidate list with ballot numbers has been published for Chittagong University Central Students' Union (Cucsu).
The Cucsu Election Commission confirmed the development today (25 September).
According to the announcement, a total of 908 candidates will compete - 415 for the central, 473 for hall union, and 20 for the hostel union.

Cucsu Election Commissioner AKM Ariful Haque Siddiqui said, "With the finalisation of candidate lists and ballot numbers, contestants are now officially allowed to begin electioneering in accordance with the electoral code of conduct."
According to Cucsu's official website, 415 candidates will vie for 26 posts in the central. These include 24 for vice president (VP), 22 for general secretary (GS), 21 for assistant general secretary (AGS).
In addition, 473 candidates will contest in 14 student halls—350 from male halls and 123 from female halls.
Meanwhile, 20 candidates have been finalised for the Shilpi Rashid Chowdhury Hostel.
