Police have found a suspicious black bag near the warehouse area of the United States (US) embassy in Gulshan on Wednesday.

Ashraful Islam, deputy commissioner of diplomatic security division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to the Business Standard

Ashraful said, " We suspect that the bag might contain explosives and we already called on the bomb disposal unit to examine the contents of the suspicious bag."
"They are currently analysing the substances found inside the bag and we will get more information about the situation once they conclude their investigation," Ashraful added.
