RAB recovers pistols, sharp weapons from pond in Cumilla
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered illegal firearms and a large cache of sharp weapons from a pond in Katakbazar area of Cumilla sadar upazila.
The operation took place today (10 February) from early morning until noon.
RAB said in the raid they recovered three pistols, one revolver, two one-shooter guns, and various sharp weapons, including machetes, knives, and Chinese axes, packed in two bags.

Major Sadman Ibne Alam, RAB Cumilla Company Commander confirmed the seizure, adding that the pond is located about 300 meters from the border.
"From early morning, our team conducted the operation and recovered firearms and sharp weapons wrapped in white bags and tape," Major Sadman said.
He added that similar operations will continue ahead of the upcoming elections.
