Confirming the matter, Faridpur Superintendent of Police, Md Alimuzzaman, said on Tuesday afternoon that Wahiduzzman's name came up in the confessional statement given to the court by the seven accused arrested in connection with the riots at the government office in Saltha.

Wahid was arrested in the case filed by SI Mizanur Rahman of Saltha police station and was sent to court with a 10-day remand appeal.
