Kuwait fixes July 19 for final hearing on Kazi Papul’s case

The Public Prosecution Department of Kuwait has extended the tenure of Bangladeshi lawmaker Mohammad Shahid Islam alias Kazi Papul's imprisonment for 10 more days.
The judge of a Kuwait court sent back Kazi Papul to jail for 10 more days as he appeared before it today after 21 days of imprisonment.
Ataul Gani, the general secretary of Awami Leauge Kuwait chapter, confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
The judge fixed July 19 for the next hearing. He also asked the authorities to produce other Bangladeshis and Kuwaitis arrested on charges of human trafficking, money laundering, bribery and illegal visa trading before the court during the hearing.
