Former commerce minister Tipu Munshi has been arrested from the Gulshan-1 area of the capital at 1:10am tonight (29 August), the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has said.
ANM Emran Khan, assistant director of the Legal and Media wing of RAB confirmed the matter to The Business Standard at around 1:50am.
"He has been arrested in a murder case filed over the killing of jewellery worker Muslim Uddin Milon during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Rangpur," said Emran.
