Various dismembered human body parts wrapped in black polythene with scotch tape were found inside a box in Louhajang of Munshiganj today (4 April).
Locals alerted the police after seeing suspicious objects wrapped in scotch tape near Anwar Chowdhury High School, adjacent to the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in the upazila's Medeni Mandal Khanbari area, said police.
"The police and intelligence agencies went to the spot to secure the objects. To ensure that the evidence is not destroyed, another expert team of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Police Bureau of Investigation has also been deployed," said Munshiganj Additional Superintendent of Police (Louhjang Circle) Anisur Rahman.

He also said, "The CID and PBI are working there. After the observation, the expert team will come to Munshiganj and start work."
