Case filed over youth killed in Mogbazar crude bomb explosion
Confirming the matter today (25 December), Hatirjheel Police Station Officer-in-Charge Golam Mortuza told The Business Standard that the case was filed in the early hours of Thursday by the victim’s father, Ali Akbar Majumder.
A case has been filed with the Hatirjheel Police Station in connection with a youth killed in a crude bomb explosion in the capital's Moghbazar area.
The victim, identified as Siam Majumder, 21, was killed last night after a crude bomb was hurled from the Moghbazar flyover and exploded near a tea stall in front of the Muktijoddha Sangsad near New Eskaton Road.
Confirming the matter today (25 December), Hatirjheel Police Station Officer-in-Charge Golam Mortuza told The Business Standard that the case was filed in the early hours of Thursday by the victim's father, Ali Akbar Majumder.
The case accuses unidentified individuals, the OC said.
He added, "Siam's body was handed over to his family after an autopsy at Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue."
Siam was an employee at Zahid Car Decoration, a car modification shop located under the flyover.
