9-year-old raped in Rajshahi
She was admitted to the One-Stop Crisis Center (OCC) at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital

A 9-year-old child in street situations was raped in Taherpur under Bagmara upazila of Rajshahi.
She was admitted to the One-Stop Crisis Center (OCC) at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in the early hours today (24 June).
Bagmara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Touhidul Islam said the family has not yet filed a formal complaint.
However, police have started collecting evidence and launched an investigation, he added.
According to family members, the child went missing after leaving home in the afternoon and did not return at night. Locals later found her in an unconscious state in a garden near the college gate in Taherpur Bazar.
She was initially taken to the Upazila Health Complex and later transferred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Dr Shankar K Biswas, spokesperson for the hospital, said the child is now in stable condition and receiving care at the OCC.
Locals said the girl had been living with her uncle since her parents separated five years ago due to marital issues. She was often seen wandering around Taherpur market and frequently spent the night sleeping on balconies or at CNG stands.
