3 APBn members suspended over Sinha murder
A Cox's Bazar court on August 18 placed the APBn members on a 7-day remand in connection with the murder case

Three members of the Armed Police Battalion (APBn), who were arrested on August 18 over their alleged involvement in the killing of retired Army major Sinha Md Rashed Khan, were suspended from the battalion on Wednesday.
They are: Assistant Sub-Inspector Shahjahan, constables Rajib and Abdullah. They were on duty at the APBn check-post on the Cox's Bazar Marive Drive on the July 31 night when Sinha was killed.
Mohammad Hemayetul Islam, commanding officer of 16th APBn, Cox's Bazar, said, "We have informed the matter to higher authorities."
Meanwhile, a Cox's Bazar court on August 18 placed the APBn members on a 7-day remand in connection with the murder case.
