The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) seized 20 gold bars from a passenger flying in from Dubai today.

The detainee was identified as Mohammed Ohidul Alam, a resident of Hathazari upazila in Chattogram.

"Alam flew in from Dubai by Biman Bangladesh Airline, flight BG148 and landed in Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram," said Riadul Islam, deputy commissioner of Chattogram Custom House.
