More flights diverted to Ctg as Dhaka airport shuts down after cargo zone fire
All operations at the Chattogram airport remain normal despite the sudden arrival of the diverted flights.

Flights to Dhaka continue to be diverted to Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport after a fire broke out at the cargo zone of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this afternoon (18 October).
As of the latest update at 5:15pm, Dhaka airport will remain closed until 6pm today, according to airport authorities.
Four more international flights — two operated by US-Bangla Airlines and two by Biman Bangladesh Airlines — are being diverted to Chattogram.
Earlier, four flights had already landed at Shah Amanat International Airport following the incident, including two domestic and two international flights.
Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, public relations officer of Shah Amanat International Airport, confirmed the latest developments to The Business Standard, adding that all operations at the Chattogram airport remain normal despite the diversions.
