Inu, Hanif among 5 to face formal charges in Kushtia murders
Inu was initially arrested on 15 August last year in connection with the murder of Rasel Gazi in Dhaka's Ashulia during the July Uprising

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has set 28 September for the formal submission of charges against former minister and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Jasad) President Hasanul Haq Inu, along with four others, in a crimes against humanity case.
The tribunal scheduled the date today (14 September) after its investigation agency submitted its report to the prosecution office.
The case stems from the deaths of seven individuals in Kushtia during the July Uprising.
Among the other accused in the case is Awami League's joint general secretary Mahbub Alam Hanif.
During the hearing, Prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim, assisted by Prosecutors Abdus Sattar Palwan and Faruk Ahmed, informed the tribunal that the investigation report was received today and that several days would be needed to review and formally submit it to the tribunal.
Following this, the tribunal set the new date.
Earlier, on 21 August, the tribunal had ordered Inu to be shown arrested in the crimes against humanity case and sent to jail. He was brought before the tribunal again this morning.
