Ex-minister Rezaul Karim, wife sued over graft charges
SM Rezaul Karim committed a punishable crime by acquiring assets of about Tk8.86 crore which is disproportionate to his known income and making suspicious transactions, says ACC

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two cases against former housing and public works minister SM Rezaul Karim and his wife Firoza Parvin for acquiring wealth beyond known sources of income.
ACC Director General (prevention) Akther Hossain told journalists today (19 February) at a press briefing held at the ACC headquarters.
He said SM Rezaul Karim committed a punishable crime by acquiring assets of about Tk8.86 crore which is disproportionate to his known income and making suspicious transactions.
His wife Firoza Parvin also committed a punishable crime by acquiring assets of about Taka 3.5 crore, which is disproportionate to known income.
