Assistant Director (Public Relations) of the ACC Tanzil Ahmed informed the media of the matter.

In the petition, it was alleged that cases were filed against Zillul Hakim on charges of amassing illegal wealth beyond known sources of income. He acquired illegal properties in different areas including Dhaka and Rajbari district.

"Investigation is now going on into the matters. It is necessary to confiscate the properties under sections 10 and 14 of the Money Laundering Prevention Act 2012 and Section 18 of the Anti-Corruption Commission Rules 2007," the petition said.
