Upon receiving the information, police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue of Kushtia General Hospital for autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mirpur Police Station Mominul Islam said it is suspected that financial hardship led to his mental distress, resulting in suicide.

The investigation is underway, he added.
