"Legal action will be taken if any formal complaint is lodged."

The incident occurred around 10:00am at the residence of Kabir Fakir in Haridarghona, where workers were engaged in construction work for a new house belonging to expatriate Anwar Hossain.

According to eyewitnesses, Ali Mia was involved in demolishing an old structure at the site when a portion of the wall suddenly collapsed.

A chunk of brick struck him in the chest, causing him to collapse on the ground.

Other workers quickly rescued him and rushed him to a private hospital in the upazila town, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
