A platform named Amra Muktijoddhar Sontan Protibadi has demanded confiscation of all assets of the Razakars (collaborators of Pakistan army during the 1971 Liberation War).

It has also demanded that the new generation of the Razakars be announced disqualified for jobs.

The platform raised the demands at a human chain in front of the National Process Club on Friday morning.

Md Zakir, the president of the platform, said, "The children of the freedom fighters do not get jobs and struggle every day for a living. But the new generation of the Razakars are working in top positions in reputed organisations."

He continued, "It should not go on like this. So, we are protesting on the streets. We want the government to consider the issue with utmost importance."

Masud Hossain, general secretary of the platform, said, "We think we are raising reasonable demands. Now the rest is on the government. It should realise that those who can oppose Bangladesh can do everything."

The platform also raised some other demands at the human chain. Several district-level leaders and activists of the platform joined the protest.
