Community bank to receive DMP traffic fines

Traffic fines of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will be paid through Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, as they have tied up through signing an agreement.

The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) took place at the DMP Headquarters yesterday (19 December) where DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali was present as chief guest, said a press release today (20 December).

Additional Police Commissioner (traffic) of DMP Khondaker Nazmul Hasan and Community Bank Managing Director (current charge) Md Abdul Qayyum Khan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

After signing the MoU, the DMP commissioner inaugurated the payment of traffic fines through Community Bank by cutting a cake with the guests.

At the outset of the event, Community Bank Bangladesh made a power point presentation on the method of paying traffic fines and the benefits it brings to the customers.

The DMP commissioner welcomed the participation of Community Bank in paying traffic fines and wished them success. 

In addition to Community Bank Bangladesh, traffic fines can also be paid through the existing system.

Senior officials of DMP and Community Bank Bangladesh were present.
