CodersTrust hopes to train 2 lakh students by 2022
The ICT Division expressed interest in working with the global skill development institution
The Bangladeshi chapter of global skill development institution, CodersTrust (CT) organized a certificates and prize giving ceremony for its graduates on Thursday, January 2.
The event took place at CodersTrust's main campus in Banani.
Country Director of CodersTtrust, Md Ataul Gani Osmani presided over as the event and Senior Secretary of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division, Mr. NM Ziaul Alam was the chief.

Former education secretary Nazrul Islam Khan, Dr Md Mufizur Rahman, director general of Bangladesh Industrial & Technical Assistance Center (BITAK), Senior Advisor to CT Bangladesh Brig Gen (Rtd) Abdul Halim, CT co-founder Aziz Ahmed and Sonia Bashir Kabir, the founder of SBK Foundation were present as special guests.
When the youth section of the country will be technologically skilled, the country will no longer be remain as a third-world country.
"CodersTrust was launched to create self-employment opportunities for people from all walks of life. We are currently working to create employment for the youth by providing them quality training," said CT co-founder, Aziz Ahmad.
He hoped around 2 lakhs students will be trained from coders trust by 2022.
The chief guest M N Ziaul Alam spoke about the various ICT training initiatives taken by the government. Referring to the Bangladesh's position in international freelancing market, Ziaul Alam admits that CodersTrust kept an important role in the process.
He also expressed his hope for working with CodersTrust in future.
Former education secretary Nazrul Islam Khan emphasized on ICT education and its precise implementations. He expressed his satisfaction over the institution's quality training and urged CT to open branches across the country.
"Young students can develop the country after upgrading their skill by receiving quality training," said BITAK director general Mafizur Rahman.
Special guest Sonia Bashir Kabir urged the young students to upgrade their skill. She also expressed her deep satisfaction over CT's activities in the industry.
"The more skilled people we have the much developed country we get," she said.
"One can help to bring financial improvement to life by the using information and technology," said the senior adviser of CT Bangladesh, Brig Gen (Rtd) Abdul Halim, referring to the multiple uses of information and technology in our daily necessities.
CT Bangladesh has been working for 5 years to transform the potential human resources, predominantly the youth, into skilled professionals.
The institution provides quality training on Web design and Development, Graphics Designing, Professional Accounting, Digital Marketing, and many others; and have recently launched video production, advance Java script and game development courses.
