China-Bangladesh to invest $3m in CEPZ in IT Sector
The company will produce annually 14 million pieces of HDMI Cable and amp LAN Cable with an investment of US$ 3 million.

China-Bangladesh jointly owned Ms Ship-Smart Data Technology (Bangladesh) Company Limited is going to set up a high-tech data connecting cable manufacturing industry in Chattogram Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) to cope up with advancing of Digital Bangladesh.
In presence of Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA) Major General S M Salahuddin Islam, BEPZA and Ms Ship-Smart Data Technology (Bangladesh) Company Limited recently signed an agreement at BEPZA Complex in the city, said a press release.
Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA Zillur Rahman and Director of Ms Ship-Smart Data Technology (Bangladesh) Company Limited Zhonggui Zhang signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
The company will produce annually 14 million pieces of HDMI Cable and amp LAN Cable with an investment of US$ 3 million.
Ship-Smart Data Technology (Bangladesh) Company Limited will create employment opportunity of 740 Bangladeshi nationals.
Member (Engineering) Mohammad Faruque Alam, Member (Finance) Mizanur Rahman, Secretary Nabirul Islam, General Manager (Public Relations) Nazma Binte Alamgir and General Manager Md Tanvir Hossain were also present at the signing ceremony.
