Greetings poured in for The Business Standard (TBS) from people of different walks of life in Chattogram as the business daily observed the first anniversary of its publication on Wednesday.

The progress of the newspaper amid the hard times during the coronavirus pandemic has overwhelmed readers, said people who came to extend their wishes at the anniversary celebrations organised at the Chattogram bureau office of TBS on the day.

Awami League mayoral candidate in Chattogram City Corporation election and joint secretary of city Awami League M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said, "TBS is playing a leading role in providing objective news.
