BNP Standing Committee Member Selima Rahman has been admitted to the coronary care unit (CCU) of United Hospital in the capital with cardiac complications.
She was taken to the hospital on 19 February after experiencing sudden chest pain, confirmed BNP Media Cell Member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
He said the former minister suddenly fell ill and was admitted to United Hospital at 10pm.
Her family and the BNP have sought prayers from the people of the country for her recovery.
