Bangladesh Coast Guard conducts free medical campaign in Saint Martin

The Bangladesh Coast Guard has continued its commitment to humanitarian service by organising a free medical campaign for Saint Martin's Island residents earlier today.
BCGS Mansur Ali, operating under the Coast Guard East Zone, carried out the initiative from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A medical team comprising doctors and medical assistants provided free consultations and distributed essential medicines to over 100 individuals, including children, the elderly, and other underprivileged community members.
Since its inception, Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq, the Bangladesh Coast Guard's media officer, stated that the organisation has worked to address the basic needs of marginalised populations in coastal and riverine regions. In addition to its operational duties, the Coast Guard has regularly arranged medical outreach programmes to benefit low-income and vulnerable groups.
Surgeon Lieutenant Adib Adnan, AMC, led today's medical campaign and oversaw the delivery of healthcare services to the island's residents.
The Coast Guard reaffirmed its dedication to supporting remote communities through continued humanitarian engagement alongside its maritime security responsibilities.
