Bahrain king condoles death of Bangladeshi national during Iran attacks
Bangladesh Foreign Minister Khalilur expressed sincere thanks to the Bahrain government for its cooperation and support in the matter.
Bahrain King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has conveyed deep condolences to Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman following the death of a Bangladeshi national in a missile-related incident.
Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani yesterday (2 March) phoned Bangladesh Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman again and formally confirmed that a Bangladeshi citizen was killed after being struck by debris from a missile launched by Iran.
During the telephone conversation, the Bahraini foreign minister conveyed the condolences of His Majesty the King to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the people of Bangladesh, said a foreign ministry's press release.
Al Zayani reiterated that his government has been taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety, security and welfare of Bangladeshi nationals residing in Bahrain and would continue to do so.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Bahraini foreign minister had also spoken with his Bangladeshi counterpart over phone regarding the incident.
