Attempted rape on bus: Conductor, helper arrested in Gazipur

A bus conductor and a helper were arrested in Gazipur yesterday (21 March) in connection with an attempted rape and mugging of a female passenger on a bus in Konabari area.
The arrested were identified as Kamrul, 25, and Md Shahed, 18. They are bus staff of Ajmeri Paribahan.
Confirming the matter, Konabari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Nazrul Islam said the victim herself had filed a case at the police station yesterday.
