Al Jazeera sued for ‘tarnishing image of Bangladesh’

A case has been filed against Al Jazeera, the Qatar-based media outlet in the US Federal Court, on allegation of tarnishing Bangladesh's image.
Dr Rabbi Alam, Sher-e-Alam and Rizvi Alam filed the case on behalf of the United States Bangabandhu Parishad and the Bangabandhu Commission with the Michigan State Court under the Sixth Circuit of the US Federal Court, Somoy Tv reports.
The case statement said that the image of Bangladesh has been tarnished with false and fabricated information in the documentary titled 'All the Prime Ministers Men' published by Al Jazeera.
The defendants in the case are Al Jazeera English, Al Jazeera Media Networks, David Bergman, Delwar Hossain, Zulkarnain Sayer (Sami), Kanak Sarwar and Elias Hossain.
