Al Jazeera report: Sedition case filed against 4 including Sami, Bergman
Moshiur Malek, founder and president of Bangabandhu Foundation, filed the case with the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate Md Ashek Imam on Wednesday.

A sedition case was filed against four people on Wednesday on allegation of hatching conspiracy against Bangladesh by the Al Jazeera report titled "All the Prime Minister's Men".
The accused men are- Swedish-Bangladeshi journalist Tasneem Khalil, Hungary-based entrepreneur Zulkarnain Saer Khan alias Sami, British journalist David Bergman and Director General (editing council) of Al Jazeera Television Dr Mostefa Souag.
Moshiur Malek, founder and president of Bangabandhu Foundation, filed the case with the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate Md Ashek Imam today.
The Qatar-based news channel Al Jazeera broadcast the report on 1 February.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry in a statement termed the Al Jazeera report "All the Prime Minister's Men" as "false, defamatory and a politically motivated smear campaign."
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said that Bangladesh was preparing to sue Al Jazeera over airing the report with inaccurate information.
On Tuesday, the chief of Bangladesh Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed said those who have aired the fabricated report accusing him want to humiliate the army.
