The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to launch an inquiry into allegations that 21 non-cadre nominees were appointed to cadre posts in the 29th BCS, over a year after the final results were published.
Akhtar Hossain, director general of the ACC, confirmed the decision of the commission during a briefing with journalists at the ACC headquarters today (26 June).
According to the ACC, the cadre positions in question include five individuals from administration cadre, one individual from Ansar cadre, four individuals from customs and excise cadre, two individuals from economic cadre, two individuals from family planning cadre, one individual from foreign affairs cadre, two individuals from police cadre, three individuals from tax cadre and one individual from general education cadre.
