The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today (20 May) conducted an enforcement operation in Dhaka following an allegation of acquiring numerous flats by a Rajuk employee and primarily found the complaints true.

Meanwhile, the ACC conducted another enforcement operation in the Chittagong City Corporation today in the wake of allegations of corruption and irregularities in the promotion process of its officials in the electricity sub-division.

During the operation, the statements of the mayor, CEO and secretary of the Chattogram City Corporation were taken. After that, the ACC team collected all the records related to the complaint.

In addition, another enforcement operation was conducted today from the Habiganj Integrated District Office of the Anti-Corruption Commission upon allegations of irregularities in the medical services at Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital.

During the operation, the team inspected the food prepared for the patients and inspected various wards.

The team spoke to the patient and service seekers who came to get services outdoors and checked whether they were being subjected to any harassment.

The service recipients present welcomed the operation by the ACC.

They told the ACC team that after the public hearing held in Moulvibazar on May 18, there has been a noticeable change in the way of giving medical services to the people.
