799 cases filed, Tk33.39 lakh fine imposed for breaching traffic rules: DMP

The traffic division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 799 cases and imposed fine of around Tk33.39 lakh after conducting drives against traffic rule violators yesterday (13 October).
Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of DMP, said this in a media release today (14 October).
A total of 53 vehicles were dumped and 29 others were towed during the drives conducted in parts of the capital.
