7 vehicles torched in Dhaka and Rajshahi
Among the vehicles, there were two trucks, a bus and a covered van.
At least seven vehicles were torched and set on fire in some areas of the capital and Rajshahi since Sunday morning during the countrywide hartal enforced by the leaders and activists of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh.
Two trucks, a bus and a covered van were torched in the capital's Signboard's Kachpur area. Two stationary buses of Bangladesh Road Transport and Corporation (BRTC) were set on fire at Rajshahi Truck Terminal in the city's Amchattar area on Sunday at around 6:30am.
Senior Station officer of Fire Service and Civil Defense of Rajshahi Abdur Rauf said the criminals set a bus of BRTC on fire around 6:30 am and the fire spread to another stationary bus of BRTC.

On information, firefighters rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze.
