4 houses burnt to ashes amid massive fire in Munshiganj

A massive fire has burnt four houses in the Kazir Pagla area of Louhajang Upazila in Munshiganj.
The fire spread to the houses of Yusuf Zaman, Mahbub Alam, Mahafus Alam and Abdul Rafiq in Kazir Pagla village of Medini Mandal Union of the Upazila around 1am today (7 March).
The fire was brought under control by two units of the fire service in two hours, said Lauhajang Fire Service Station Officer Sumon Ali

He said, the fire burnt four houses and caused damage worth around Tk10 lakh.
Initially, it is believed that the fire started from a gas cylinder, he added.
