The mobile court of RAB has fined one person on a bike Tk500 and another Tk200 for not wearing a mask.

During the operation, Basu said legal action was being taken in the mobile court to enforce the government's directives against those who would not wear masks.

Another mobile court drive was being conducted in the Kawran Bazar area in the capital led by Executive Magistrate Masud Hossain.

Besides, 18 people were fined for not wearing masks.

Meanwhile, two people were fined for occupying the road and one's possessions were seized and sold at auction for Tk 4,500.

Mask Distribution

The purpose of the mobile court is not to impose fines. Their purpose is to create public awareness in the prevention of Covid-19 added Basu.

The police stations are- Sutrapur Police Station, Kadamtoli Police Station, Uttara East Police Station, Hazaribagh Police Station and Rampura Police Station.
