In his petition, he pointed out that a group of leaders and workers of Bangladesh Awami League forcibly took him to an unknown place from Bagha New Bus Stand area at gunpoint at the direction of Sheikh Hasina and Shahriar on 21 May 2023.

Afterwards, they beat him mercilessly along with giving him electric shocks repeatedly. He was sent to court after a weeklong torture and filing false cases against him.

On the other hand, Zahid Hassan mentioned that the AL leaders and workers armed with firearms and lethal weapons attacked his business shop and set it on fire at Kishorepur Bazar under the same upazila on 25 August 2023.

In his case, he mentioned the names of 141 people, Sheikh Hasina and Shahriar, and 100-150 others as unnamed.

Abu Bakker Siddique, Officer-in-Charge of Bagha Police Station, said they recorded the two cases separately. He also said they are continuing their efforts to bring the accused to book as early as possible.
