Lakshmipur-3: BNP’s Anee beats Jamaat’s Rezaul by 16,686 votes
The Lakshmipur-3 constituency has a total of 444,472 registered voters, including 229,709 male voters and 214,758 female voters.

BNP candidate Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee has defeated Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Rezaul Karim by 16,686 votes to be unofficially elected from the Lakshmipur-3 (Sadar) constituency.
He was declared the unofficial winner tonight (12 February) by Assistant Returning Officer and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kyathowai Prue Marma.
Anee secured 133,765 votes, while his nearest rival, Rezaul Karim, received 117,079 votes.
