Islami Andolan to unveil manifesto on Wednesday
According to the party, it's ameer, the Charmonai Pir, will announce the manifesto.
The Islami Andolan Bangladesh will unveil its manifesto at a press conference at the party's central office at 3pm on Wednesday (4 February).
The decision was taken at a regular party meeting today (31 January), chaired by its Ameer Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, also known as the Charmonai Pir, according to a press release issued by the party.
The manifesto prioritises Shariah in state governance and calls for replacing the existing system in line with the aspirations of the July Uprising, reads the press release.
Titled "Bangladesh of people's expectation", the manifesto also highlights commitment to the July Charter, youth employment, good governance, and citizen services and rights.
It also focuses on financial discipline, investment, energy security, and a foreign policy based on mutual respect and cooperation.
