Dhaka metro rail to boost services on polls day to facilitate voters

Dhaka metro rail services will operate as usual on 12 February, the day of the referendum and the 13th National Parliamentary Election, with additional trains to be deployed to facilitate voter movement.
The information was disclosed in a press release issued yesterday (8 February), signed by AKM Khairul Alam, director (Administration) of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).
According to the press release, to ensure convenient travel for voters, the number of metro trains will be increased beyond the regular schedule during voting hours.
