53%-66% voter turnout across Faridpur’s four constituencies
In Faridpur-2, voter turnout stood at 66%, with a total of 214,695 votes cast. Faridpur-3 saw 247,847 voters participate, accounting for 58% turnout, while Faridpur-4 registered the lowest turnout at 53%, with 258,024 voters casting their votes.
Voting in Faridpur's four constituencies concluded with turnout ranging from 53% to 66% in the 13th national election, according to the district returning officer's office.
Officials said Faridpur-1 recorded a turnout of 62%, with 311,999 voters casting their ballots.
In Faridpur-2, voter turnout stood at 66%, with a total of 214,695 votes cast. Faridpur-3 saw 247,847 voters participate, accounting for 58% turnout, while Faridpur-4 registered the lowest turnout at 53%, with 258,024 voters casting their votes.
Vote counting is currently underway at polling centres across the four constituencies. At centres where counting has already been completed, BNP candidates are reported to be leading, officials said.
