Trump says he's not looking to run for third term

US President Donald Trump has denied that he is considering running for a constitutionally-barred third White House term.
"This is not something I'm looking to do," he said in an interview on NBC's Meet the Press with Kristen Welker, reports AFP.
"I'm looking to have four great years and turn it over to somebody, ideally a great Republican, a great Republican to carry it forward," he added.

Trump has previously said he was "not joking" about wanting to serve a third, or even fourth, term as US president.
He later said the statements were meant to troll the "fake news media".
