Renowned wordsmith Samaresh Majumdar has been hospitalised with breathing issue in Kolkata on Friday.
The 79-year-old novelist was suffering from respiratory problem due to lung infection, however, his coronavirus test result came negative, reports Anandabazar.
He has been kept in the intensive care unit of Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals. A medical board has been formed, which is constantly monitoring his condition.
