Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the US from 21-23 September, the Indian foreign ministry said on Tuesday.

During the visit, Modi will attend a meeting of the Quad group comprising India, the United States, Japan and Australia, a statement from the ministry said.

According to the Indian foreign ministry, the leaders of Quad will review the progress achieved by the alliance in the last one year.

They will set the agenda for the year to assist the countries of the Indo-Pacific region in meeting their development goals and aspirations, it said.
