Iran says it will stop 'self-defence response' if Israel halts attacks
Iranian media say Israeli attacks have killed at least 80 people and wounded 800 others over the past two days. Those killed include 20 children

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said today (15 June) Tehran is acting in "self-defence" and will de-escalate as soon as Israel stops its strikes.
Iranian media say Israeli attacks have killed at least 80 people and wounded 800 others over the past two days. Those killed include 20 children.
According to Israeli authorities, at least 10 people have been killed and over 200 wounded in the attacks, with three more still missing.
As reported by Al Jazeera, Israel said Iran fired around 80 missiles during the strike, which also damaged the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa. Yemen's Houthis have claimed participation in the operation.
"The Zionist regime crossed a new red line in international law, and it was attacking nuclear facilities," Araghchi said during a meeting with foreign diplomats, broadcast on Iranian state television.
The attack comes as Israel continues its strikes inside Iran, reportedly targeting a defence facility in Isfahan and an electronics factory in Shiraz.
Israel has also warned civilians to evacuate areas near "weapons production factories and their support institutions."
US President Donald Trump stated Washington "had nothing to do" with the Israeli strikes and warned Tehran against attacking the US "in any way, shape or form."
Both countries have extended airspace closures amid the escalating conflict.
