Why is Apple so dependent on China?
Apple designs in the United States, but almost all of its products are made in China. The Trump administration's tariffs have put pressure on Chinese manufacturing. Apple has shifted some production to Vietnam and India as alternatives, but China's vast supply chain and skilled labor force are still unrivaled. As a result, it is still almost impossible for Apple to operate without China.
