What message is Türkiye sending to Israel by closing its airspace and ports?

Turkey has banned Israeli aircraft from flying over its airspace in protest of the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip. From now on, no Israeli aircraft will be able to use Turkish airspace. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced this at a session of the Turkish Parliament on August 29.
