India-Pakistan tensions had reached a point where many feared a nuclear war. In the end, however, the two countries agreed to a ceasefire; a nuclear war was also averted. US President Donald Trump claimed that it was because of their intervention that it was possible to avert a terrible nuclear war between the two countries.
